Very nicely made, but not for narrow shoes

These trees are very high quality, however, I could not rate them 5-stars because they are simply too thick. My shoes are 11.5-A. I ordered a pair in US-11, and they won't go in past the base of the tongue. I ordered a second pair in US size-10, and after 15 minutes of fighting, I was able to get them in, but the spring mechanism is completely compressed, and they still do not go all the way to the toe. $60, and I am going to have to resort to sanding these down to fit my shoes.
