Extraordinarily comfortable ribbed over the calf Bresciani dress hose that feels like cashmere and is the perfect weight to wear year round in temperature controlled environments. Pure Super 140s wool is knitted in Italy with a higher density of yarn so the socks stay up without cutting off circulation around the calves and then hand finished. Despite the natural fiber content, these will last for years with cold water washing on the delicate cycle. Line dry or tumble without heat.

Offered in charcoal, grayed blue, grayed brown, silver, red, wine and walnut and sized to fit men between 5' 6" (167 cm) and 6' 2" (188 cm) tall. And, on these as well as most of our other socks, if you purchase 6-11 pair of a style at one time a 5% discount from posted prices will be applied at checkout. If you purchase 12 or more pair of a style at one time a 10% discount will be applied at checkout.

-Size 10 fits feet wearing U. S. shoe sizes 7-7 1/2 (Euro 40).
-Size 10 1/2 fits feet that wear U.S. shoe sizes 8-8 1/2 (Euro 41).

-Size 11 1/2 fits feet fitting into U.S. shoe size 10 1/2-11 (Euro 43).

Luxuriously soft and warm

These socks are very comfortable and certainly stay up all day. They feel like cashmere as the description says. One thing to be aware of is: unless your feet lean towards being cold, any significant amount of walking and movement in an indoor environment with these socks can leave your feet bordering on being too hot with more persperation to deal with. So while wool deals better with moisture, the extra warmth is very real with these socks because of the fabric. Sitting for most of the day or time spent outside would be a more appropriate. Very pleased overall.

Softer Wool Socks

These socks are a step up from the very nice "standard" wool Bresciani socks and they do spoil one's feet with their greater softness. They wash very nicely and remain soft after air drying. I've been impressed with how these socks stay up during the day. I simply never have to fiddle with them. For those wanting a softer sock experience, these super 140's should fit the bill well.
