Ribbed Wool Dress Hose in Solid Colors
Sized over the calf wool Bresciani dress hose in solid colors with a light ribbing that are the right weight for year-round wear in temperature controlled environments. Mixed with 20% nylon for shape retention and knitted in Italy with a higher density of yarn so the socks stay up without cutting off circulation around the calves and then hand finished. Despite the natural fiber content, these will last for years with cold water washing on the delicate cycle. Line dry.
Offered in black, bordeaux, charcoal gray, chocolate, dark brown, dark green, grayed blue, navy, pearl gray and violet and sized to fit men between 5' 6" (167 cm) and 6' 2" (188 cm) tall.

-Size 10 1/2 fits feet that wear U.S. shoe sizes 8-8 1/2 (Euro 41).
-Size 11 fits feet that wear U.S. shoe sizes 9-10 (Euro 42).
-Size 11 1/2 fits feet fitting into U.S. shoe size 10 1/2-11 (Euro 43).
-Size 12 fits feet that wear U.S. shoes 11 1/2 - 12 (Euro 44).
-Size 12 1/2 fits feet that wear U. S. shoe size 12 1/2 (Euro 45).

Very Nice Wool Socks

I've worn these socks now for several months and they are exactly as described. For comparison, I ordered similar socks from Drake's and from Mes Chaussettes Rouges. While the Drake's are a bit thicker and the Rouges come with a nice letter in a pouch, I like the Bresciani socks the best. They are the softest of the three brands, they fit my feet very well, and they stay up all day long. I think they represent excellent value.
