Pin Striped Cotton Lisle Dress Hose
Comfortable pin striped over the calf cotton lisle Bresciani hose for warm weather. Offered in dark navy blue with red or royal blue pin stripes.
Made and hand finished in Italy using advanced knitting technology so they stay up without the addition of nylon or cutting off circulation around the calves. "Made to measure" sizing for men between 5' 6" (167 cm) and 6' 2" (188 cm) tall. And, on these as well as most of our other socks, if you purchase 6-11 pair of a style at one time a 5% discount from posted prices will be applied at checkout. If you purchase 12 or more pair of a style at one time a 10% discount will be applied at checkout.
Cold water wash and line dry or tumble dry without heat.

-Size 10 1/2 fits feet that wear U.S. shoe sizes 8-8 1/2 (Euro 41).

My entire sock collection consists of Marcoliani - that was until I received my first pair of Brescianis from Will.
This review is of the 100% cotton pair - navy blue with faint royal blue lines that appear "stitched" approximately 1" apart on the body of the sock.
This was my first pair of socks that is fitted exactly to my shoe size. The first thing I noticed is that one does NOT have to pull very hard to put on the socks, as one often does with the "one size fits all". As expected, the all-cotton sock wears cool in the summer heat (especially in Louisiana - humidity capital of the world).
I saved the "best" for last. One thing I noticed about these this brand of sock is that it is it does not "give" much in terms of stretch, but it is a very "sturdy" sock. In other words, this sock is meant to be worn and not just admired. Finally, I intentionally wore it with a pair of Alden cordovan slipons and at the end of the day, NO pilling. I HAVE experienced some pilling with Marcoliani cotton socks, so Bresciani may become my "go to" sock.
