Albert Thurston Red and White Regimental Stripe Braces
Barathea braces are lighter than the heavier boxcloth type and are generally worn in warmer weather.
Ours are English made by Albert Thurston, 1 1/2" (38 mm) wide red and white regimental stripe barathea weave braces with hand polished nickel-plated levers, glove leather covered ends and white hand stitched button tabs (Thurston's barathea is 53% nylon and 47% cotton)..
Offered in three sizes as measured from where they attach to the waistband and over the shoulder to where they attach at the back of the trouser. Having the correct size means the metal adjustors will be near your waist where they should be so they do not distract from your face.
Note that you can have braces shortened but they can never be lengthened. If you measure 40" or 44", the limits of the medium and large sizes respectively, we recommend you choose the next longer length.
