Albert Thurston Maroon Boxcloth Braces
Boxcloth braces are more comfortable than but heavier than barathea and generally worn in cool weather.
Ours are 1 1/2" (38 mm) wide, made in England by Albert Thurston of pure wool maroon boxcloth woven in the Yorkshire Dales. This classic style is complemented with hand polished brass levers, glove leather covered ends and white hand stitched button tabs.
Offered in three sizes as measured from where they attach to the waistband and over the shoulder to where they attach at the back of the trouser. Having the correct size means the metal adjustors will be near your waist where they should be so they do not distract from your face.
Note that you can have braces shortened but they can never be lengthened. If you measure 40" or 44", the limits of the medium and large sizes respectively, we recommend you choose the next longer length.
